Pattern Atelier Studio – Returns & Refund Policy

Digital Products (PDF Patterns & Downloads) All digital products — including PDF sewing patterns, downloadable files, and digital resources — are non-refundable. Once a file has been accessed or downloaded, it cannot be returned, and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on digital items.

This is consistent with your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which permit the exclusion of the 14-day cancellation right for digital content where download has commenced with your prior consent.

Please review all product descriptions, size information, and compatibility notes carefully before purchasing. If you experience any technical issues accessing your files, contact us and we will assist you promptly.

Physical Patterns Physical printed patterns may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, to your original payment method.

Faulty or Incorrect Items If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item — physical or digital — please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a description and supporting photographs where applicable. We will offer a replacement, corrected file, or refund as appropriate. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Made-to-Order & Custom Items Made-to-order, personalised, or customised physical items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective. This exclusion is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Freelance & Drafting Services Deposits paid for bespoke pattern drafting or design services are non-refundable once work has commenced. Please refer to clause 11.7 of our Terms of Service for full cancellation terms.

Exchanges We do not offer exchanges on digital products. Exchanges for physical items may be considered on a case-by-case basis — please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
